Mary Victor O’Reeri back from UN meetings in New York

“It was extremely fascinating and mind blowing. I was well and truly privileged to be part of the Australian Government delegation to the 54th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. I absorbed a lot of the world’s best practices in ‘Gender Equality’ through the high quality access I had to many events.

What I noticed was that our work on the ground in Australia in ‘closing the gap’ has so many similarities in its focus on empowerment, partnership, quality of life, justice, health, education, life expectancy, women and child mortality, ‘Gender Equality’ and other important parts of the human pie.”
